7/14 update: corn! Tomatoes! Kale! Beets! Cucumbers! Summer squash! Zuccini! Cabbage! And even items from the pie bar!!!!!!! And pantry of goodness. Wow. Thank you community

The freedge is in the news! Sharing goodness and helping folks make ends meet and decrease food waste.

Along the bike trail in Florence is something that may seem out of place – a refrigerator.

UPDATE 6/30: OMG Plenty of food and love - fridge is packed with goodness, pantry is FULL up and down. Stop by for a snack and a drink during your bike ride, or take home a full meal, and dessert options. Please spread the word.

Wow. Less than 24 hours and the fridge is almost empty from all the lettuce and carrots. Thank you eaters!

Pantry refurbished! Come by the Freedge to give/take/share food and shelf stable items :)
Note the the new pantry is a non working fridge. Only suitable for dry goods and self stable items, not cold!!

Work day tomorrow! Starts Sunday at 9am, with fresh carrot juice :) we already have the pantry/fridge there and will work on some needed upkeeps. Bring your water and stop by to help, we sure would love to see you. Might end early due to heat.

Update 6/24: SO MUCH LETTUCE. And a pie, yogurts, cream cheese, bread and some carrots. Please come take and share!

Freedge update as of 5/15: pantry is full of goodness, soups, pasta, canned veggies, pumpkin puree, and even gaflitah fish. In the fridge, some prepared meals with assortment of condiments, cheeses, and flat bread.

And to note, we are delighted that it's almost a year past founding and we are still going strong! The temp in fridge and freezer are good and we are so happy it survived a New England winter.
