Sad to say we have quite a bit of damage. Mostly from the hail. Pretty much every crop has shredded leaves. Anything with fruits hanging like cucumber , summer squash, spaghetti squash, melons, are all very damaged both leaves and fruits. Tomatoes, peppers, etc. 😞
Time will tell what recovers and what doesn’t. And, damnit, things were starting to look really good around here too.
We rode that storm out under the CSA pickup pavilion. I’m sure that will be a memorable experience we will not forget. Swirling wind, large hail… we couldnt hear each other from the pounding hail on the steel roof. Pretty scary there for a bit.
Right now, trying to stay thankful for everything and not be angry about it. Trying…trying harder… keep trying…. lol 😆
