Florence Farmers Market tomorrow,Wed. 2-6pm!Things are winding down for the season.....but I love the change in weather!The fall is a great time to make pancakes....or waffles....or ice cream with maple topping....or putting maple on your sweet potato.....or winter squash:P

No matter how often I see it.....when there is wildlife in the yard, I always have to stop & watch it.Babies are the same thing,they don't do much, but I could stare at them all day!!Saw a nice deer come down the hill from the upper corn field behind the house & then into the corn in the lower field.I was picking green beans by the old barn & had to just watch it.It was funny 'cuz it would put its head down in the corn & "get lost" & then pop up someplace else!So beautiful:)Picking green beans at 7:30am certainly has its advantages!!!I need to start taking my camera out to the garden!!

Farmers Market today in Westfield 1:30-5:30.Should be another hot one!!!I'm looking forward to the Berkshire Bread people, they always bring chocolate croissants....yummy!!!!!:p

There is nothing better than eating maple cream right out of the container.....with your fingers:P I know it's bad manners & the Queen will never invite me to tea because of it, but there are times you have to say forget the manners & do something the right way. I promise you won't be sorry:)

I love the smell of freshly plowed dirt:)Farmers markets are started & the garden is ......well partly planted:)If the warm weather shows up, we will plant the stuff that can't survive the colder nights!!

I have a confession to make: Looking at the vegetable/flower seed catalogue makes me feel as giddy & excited as the Christmas toy catalogue did when I was 8!!!I want to buy them all, but will probably only play with 1/2 of them........

Starting to get excited for gardening now:)However we have syrup all year & candy & cream:P The Farmers Markets will be starting in a little over a month so don't be shy:)
