An incredible heartfelt thank you to all who sat in with me and enjoyed some truly delicious whiskies this past weekend at the 31st Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival. Well over 100 of you in the first seating alone!

Also, massive round of thanks to ImpEx and Four Seasons for their support with this event.
And to Katie, thank you for backing me up every bit of the way. It couldn’t be done without you.

I’ve said it before, I’m just here to tell the story. But they’re here to help make it all happen.

If you’re lucky, you only turn 40 once, so a proper pour is and was definitely required.

I’ve been sitting this Ardmore for a little bit of time now, and seeing as it was laid down back in ‘86, same year as yours truly, (and also an extremely hard year to find much of anything) now was just about as perfect as it can get.

40 is feeling pretty good and this dram was a wonderful finishing touch to the celebrations.

Here’s to a hopeful 40 more.
