It’s swarm season! Please don’t kill honey bee swarms; they are actually at their least aggressive when swarming. If you or someone you know has a swarm land in your yard this website lets you connect with local beekeepers who will come and collect them for you. We need our pollinators!

Anyone ever seen something like this in their garden? This was a first for us! Found a stick with what looked like blobs of spray foam attached to it and set it aside for later inspection, then p**f! Baby preying mantises. Nature is so cool.

A little bit too excited to have spotted this guy today! Friendly reminder to keep the milkweed that pops up in your yard, it’s the Monarch caterpillars’ only food source. Monarch butterflies are considered endangered so it is vital to their survival that we let the milkweed grow! 🐛
