Meet Farmer Ryan 🌱
Originally from North Idaho, Ryan brings a wealth of experience shaped by years of farming across Idaho, California, Oregon, Washington, and Montana. Raised on a timber ranch and hay farm just outside Coeur d’Alene, his connection to the land started early and has only grown stronger over time. From running his own agricultural systems design and homestead construction company to working in municipal water treatment, his background is rooted in sustainability from every angle.
Now residing in Cambridge, Ryan is tending both our Freight Farm—our on-site hydroponic growing space—and our outdoor garden, growing ingredients from seed to harvest for Peppers.
And just look at what he’s already started 👀
Mizuna (a peppery mustard green headed for our salad mix), Cherokee and Casey lettuces, baby lettuce starts for our cultivation walls, and Russian statice in the works for future beautification and bouquets.
