Some days in the agave fields are a little more unforgettable than others.

Lunch with the jimadors, ice-cold Palomas in hand, surrounded by the very agave that becomes Authentico, and then watching our first rattlesnake get skinned and thrown straight on the grill for everyone to share. 🐍

This is tequila country. This is Mexico. This is the part of the story you can’t put in a bottle.

Good people. Great tequila. A little adventure. And memories we’ll never forget. Salud!

Simple in Spirit.

From agave to glass. Nothing else. The beauty of keeping it simple.

See those little red pencas? They’re telling us something.

Those red leaves on the agave can be a sign that the piña has more sugar stored inside.

But here’s the interesting part: you don’t want a piña covered in them. A few red pencas can be a good indicator of the agave’s sugar content, and those sugars can ultimately play a role in the flavor and character of the tequila.

This is the kind of detail our partners & jimadors look for long before the agave ever becomes tequila.

Great tequila should always start in the fields.

A little BTS from our latest shoot 🎥✨ Sometimes we’re in the agave fields, sometimes we’re right here at Henson & Co. Films in Florida. Different locations, same good vibes.

We live in a world where you can’t have all 3:
Ethical. High-quality. Fair-priced.

We disagree. 😉

At Authentico, we believe you shouldn’t have to compromise.
It’s that simple. Simple in Spirit.™
