By the time you see a bottle of tequila beautifully packaged on a shelf, you’re looking at a minimum of 6–7 years of hard work.

That’s how long we wait for our agaves to fully mature before harvest. And because we farm organically, without synthetic pesticides or chemicals, much of the work is done by hand.

Our distillery partner, Gabriel Garcia, takes us into the fields to show you what goes into harvesting our agaves the organic way.

It’s more time. More hands. More labor. More care.

Happy National Tequila Day!

For us, tequila has always been so much more than what’s inside the bottle.

It’s the land. It’s the agave. It’s the generations of knowledge passed down. It’s the hands, hearts, and passion of the incredible people who dedicate their lives to creating this truly spiritual spirit.

Today, we raise a glass to celebrate and honor our distillery partners & jimadors in Jalisco. We are forever grateful for their craftsmanship, their patience, and their commitment to making tequila the way it was meant to be made.

The truth is… this spirit was never ours to create. We are simply humbled to be a small part of its journey and to share their incredible work with the world.

“Additive-free” gets thrown around a lot these days... but what does it actually mean?

I’m breaking it down as simply as I can because it doesn’t have to be complicated.

At the end of the day, tequila should only be made with 3 simple ingredients:

1.) Water
2.) Agave
3.) Yeast

That’s it.

Could I go way deeper into fermentation, distillation, and all the additives that are legally allowed in tequila? Absolutely. But if you’re just trying to know what belongs in your glass, it’s really this simple.

If anything else is being added to “improve” the flavor, color, or texture... I’m not drinking it.

Simple ingredients. Honest tequila. That’s how we do it at 💚
