Lightfoot Farm is a small farm on a 4-acre Vermont hillside with a diversified orchard of apples, pears, plums, blueberries, jostaberries, nanking cherries, wild blackberries, elderberries, raspberries, strawberries and nut trees. Our mission is to provide healthy food and herbal teas for the body and beautiful flowers for the soul. Our plants are grown without the use of pesticides and herbicides
, using plenty of compost and organic fertilizers. By growing our plants organically, we are contributing to making our soil healthy and creating a better environment for wildlife. Our products are also climate friendly, as we capture carbon in the organic matter of our soils and we do a minimal amount of tilling. We also produce 100% of the electricity we use from solar energy.
