MEAT-UAL AID UPDATE 💛🥩

We have reached our $2,500 goal and then some. We are truly in awe of what our community’s generosity and compassion has been able to accomplish thus farm. BUT WE ARE NOT DONE! (More on that later but notice on slide 4 the new fundraiser goal.)

Slides 2&3: current farm Venmo and farm store totals (note: Venmo total is after fees but we are going to absorb the cost so what people donate translates 100% to meat).

Help us feed our communities!

W.T. farms is 50% q***r POC owned and operated and 100% f*ck 🧊. We are getting beef and pork to as many families as we can that are being impacted by 🧊 and SNAP cuts. We have a couple hundred pounds of beef and pork (from ground meat to breakfast links, roasts) that can be distributed right now, but we need y’all’s help so the farm can keep farming!

We are starting with a fundraising goal of $500 that will support the distribution of $1000 worth of meat (~170lbs of ground beef and ground pork). $3 can get a family a pound of meat!

We are going to keep this going until the freezer is empty! Fundraising receipts and meat distribution updates will be shared! Venmo and farm store links in bio. 💛

Started 2026 with some more profess with little miss 510. At some point, everyone is getting WT Farms ear tags and I’m still ruminating on names for 5 of these ladies. I think they’ll need to start with “P” so all our young heifers have a name theme (and it’ll be “P” because we are keeping the name Princess).

Day 4 of trying to acclimate our 8 new ladies (and hopefully get 510 to let me give her a head scratch). We are solidly still in the “stranger danger” zone but I think I can see curiosity outweighing the weariness.

Technically today is day 4 but Wyatt handled chores yesterday so it’s only day 3 of me seeing the ladies. Everyone is getting less spooked and getting them a fresh bale of hay certainly doesn’t hurt the process.

Day 2 with the ladies and no one ran through the fence so that’s a win! As always, it’s best to not push your luck when trying to get critters settled in and comfortable with you.

Last market of 2025! AND EVERYTHING IS 20% OFF! Swing by Northfield Middle School from 9am-1pm. Bill is handling the market while Wyatt and I work on bringing some critters to fill the barn we prepped yesterday.

We are so grateful to everyone who supports our farm, this last year has been a doozy. More herd pictures soon!

Popping up at Little Hill Berry Farm today with our pals until 1pm! We are still figuring out the logistics of our last winter market that is scheduled for the 20th. We are going to be picking up new farm residents that morning but we will keep yall posted. On-farm freezer cleanout sales before January may also be a possibility.

Already of longing for dreamy evenings in the pasture☀️🌾 Easy to do when we don’t leave the house with extra base layers on ❄️ Riverwalk Winter Market at Northfield Middle School today 9-1pm (side note: we will be leaving early, ~12:15pm). EVERYTHING IS 15% OFF TOO THROUGH THE END OF THE YEAR. Next weekend we are at Little Hill Berry Farm!! Be on the look out for farm pick-up options too.
