We have been working with for many years to help feed our pigs. This is the first batch where we are moving totally to red hens day old bread and veggie scraps to feed our 20 pigs!

In the past we fed roughly 50% grain and 50% bread and veggies plus each group gets a separate 1 acre patch of hilly forest.

This will mean our pigs are getting LOCAL grain! Which in New England is not the norm.

Asking our friends who roll through the to be patient with my dear Em tomorrow because math is hard and she's holding down the fort solo so I can play with my friends ❤️

My absence also means that there will be NO BREAKFAST SAMMIES TOMORROW! Sorry we love you and we'll be back next week and every week after that 🥓🍳

The chicken sale is still hip hap happening and we're starting to get dangerously low on a lot of our favs so tomorrow would be a great time to stock up!

Tomorrow marks our 6th season of farmer's markets and the only thing that hasn't changed is our table cloth ;)

We now have 4 options for the Fresh Chicken Club CSA! Choose from whole chicken or chicken cut CSA's, both available in small and large options.

We also now have 4 pick up locations! Pick up Locations are:
5th Quarter Butcher Shop in Waitsfield (Friday's 445-6pm),
Capital City Farmers Market in Montpelier (Saturdays 9-1pm @ 133 State St)
Black Bird Organics in Plainfield
UBF Farmstand in Northfield Friday 4pm-Sunday 8pm.
