Yesterday stated before the sun came up, for me! I was up to get chores done at the crack of dawn. All because we had places to be and sheep to show!
The first show of the season always feels alittle rusty. It was a great day with beautiful weather. The kids dusted off the cobwebs on their show skills and were able to see where their lambs placed. Acknowledgement of where the kids need to grow and how to better their lamb projects isn't always easy but it is necessary for personal growth. These are valuable life skills they will take with them forever.
We (Mom) learned that we will now be using a spreadsheet of supplies needed to bring to the show. This list will be in the show barn, a copy in the truck, suburban and tack box, as well. This way we will have to check off what is packed in the trailer so the reliability isn't solely on the word of a teenage. If you know, you know.
First show down, many to go!
