Our annual spring plant sale is back! As a special kick off to our plant sale (and to entice you to get your plant order in early!), we are offering 15% off all plant sale orders through Sunday, February 2nd with the code 2025EARLYORDER.

We offer berry plants, fruit trees, vegetable, flower, and herb seedlings, native plants, and organic gardening supplies. Our plant sale is unique because we offer plants that are grown locally, have outstanding flavor and do well in our soils and climates. We know because we've tested them! Plants you buy at big box stores and even many local nurseries are grown in warm, southern states and shipped to Minnesota in the spring. They aren't adapted to our climate and are generic varieties that often lack flavor.

We're also available to assist you every step of the way. Please reach out with any questions you have. We can offer advice on what varieties to plant or how many plants/what types of plants make sense in the space you have available. We provide planting and care instructions for all the berry plants and fruit trees we offer, and you are always welcome to reach with questions any time of year.

Click below to get all the details and start shopping. We're sorry but we do NOT ship plants.

Our daughter LuElla is a fifth grader at Prairie Creek here in Northfield! The fifth graders at her school are going to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in February. To help reduce the cost to families and the school, LuElla is selling 2025 Wolf Ridge calendars! The calendar includes stunning photographs of the North Shore and make great gifts.

Calendars cost $15 and $10 of those dollars go directly towards the cost of the trip. If you are interested in making this incredible opportunity for Lu and her classmates more affordable, please let us know! Calendars that are ordered now will be available the week of Thanksgiving. If you live in the Northfield area we'd deliver the calendars to your house. If you live further away we will mail them to you. You could pay by Venmo (), check, or take credit card through our website.

Thanks so much for considering!

We are open tomorrow (Saturday, August 10th) from 9am to 11am for upick green beans, dig-your-own potatoes, and berry order pickup. We have lots of pre-picked blueberries and raspberries available to order for pickup tomorrow, which you can do by clicking the link below. This is likely the last opportunity to get fresh, local blueberries before you have to go back to store bought blueberries or frozen blueberries, so grab a container of blueberries tomorrow before they are gone.

Saturday UPDATE: We may get picked out blueberries at some point tomorrow morning. If you aren't coming right away and want to make sure you can pick blueberries, please check our phone message (507-301-7183) or social media to make sure we haven't posted that we're picked out.

In addition to blueberries tomorrow, we have dig-your-own potatoes and upick green beans! Both are $3 per pound and certified organic, just like all of our berries. Fresh green beans are easy to pick and really a treat. You can eat them raw right off the plant! They are the only green vegetable that everyone in our family agrees on. :)

We will not be open on Sunday this weekend. We're not sure yet when we will be open for dig-your-own potatoes after this weekend. We're going to take a deep breath next week after a busy blueberry season and then plan out what the schedule will be for the next few weeks.

SCHEDULE CHANGE. We will NOT be offering dig-your-own potatoes tomorrow (Friday). We received nearly 3 inches of rain at the farm over the last 24 hours. The potato field is too muddy for digging and needs some time to dry out. The silver lining is that the rain was great for blueberry picking! The blueberries sized up beautifully and are tasting great. We will be open Friday for upick blueberries only from 7am to 11am.

There is no change to our Saturday schedule. We will be open for dig your own potatoes and upick blueberries on Saturday from 7am to 11am as planned. As a reminder, this weekend will be the last weekend of upick blueberries for the season. We will not be open next week for upick blueberries although we should have pre picked blueberries still next week for purchase at the farm.

This is an exciting week at the farm. We're going to be open for both upick blueberries and dig-your-own potatoes! This will be the first time we've ever had both available at the same time. We'll be open Friday and Saturday from 7am to 11am. You can pick blueberries. You can dig potatoes. You can do both!

These will be the last two days of upick blueberries for the season. For potatoes, we have red, purple and yellow potatoes available for digging and the price is $3.00 per pound. The potatoes are somewhat on the smaller side this year (the image shows what you'll typically find) compared to what we had two years ago primarily due to all the rain in the spring when the plants were getting established. They still taste great though regardless of size.

To show you what digging your own potatoes will be like at the farm, we've put together a short video which you can watch by clicking the link below. If you dug potatoes at our farm two years ago, the setup will be very similar.

We have a special evening blueberry upick on Wednesday night (July 24th) from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm's mobile unit will be at the farm slinging pizzas during upick. Their pizza is fantastic. We'll have some tables and chairs set up. You'll also be able to bring your pizza out into the blueberry field and eat pizza while you pick blueberries. Bring a blanket, enjoy a picnic in the blueberry field. It should be a magical evening.

This week will be our last full week of upick blueberries. Blueberry season always seems to go by so fast. It's here. There's crazy abundance and then all of a sudden it's over. There's a possibility we will have another upick day the week of July 29th, but that's only a maybe. If you are hoping to come out again for picking or come out for the first time this is the week to do it. For the rest of the week our schedule is gthat we'll be opne for upick blueberries on Friday July 26th from 7am to 11am and Sunday, July 28th from 7am to 11am. We will not be open Saturday, July 27th for upick.
