2016 lot from a Washington grower; number 305; lot 009. (WA305 currently an in-active number for sample purposes only). The abbreviation code for each variety is also included on the label so breweries and home brewers can easily identify each bag, (i.e. Cascade is coded as CAS and Crystal is coded as CRY). Abbreviations are approved and used by farmers of the Hop Growers of America and farmers of around the world to ensure integrity of hop varieties. Wholesale and home brew bags available

Check out the plant a hop event going on this Saturday from 2 to 4pm at the DeFrancesco Farm.
This class is the first of it's kind in the state! You receive a hop plant of your choice, cultivated from one of the oldest commercial hop yards in CT.
Class includes history on hops in CT. Instructions on setting up a home owners trellis system,( both in ground or from planters), how to take care of your hop baby throughout the season, harvest and dry cones, and winterize your plants for next year's growing season.
A complementary flight of beer brewed by is included. The flight is brewed with hops from the plants you'll be taking home. Oh, and did we mention each beer is 100% CT malts. Must be 21 years or older to partake in the sampling.

It's official. The Stewards of the Land Brewery was approved by the town tonight. Thank you to everyone who supported this journey towards the farm brewery and helping resurrect an old farm house in our town. Cheers!
