The Mitten Brewing Company was founded in November 2012 by lifelong friends Chris Andrus and Max Trierweiler. With locations in Grand Rapids and Northport, The Mitten is a vintage baseball-themed Michigan microbrewery with a focus on community involvement and charitable giving. Andrus and Trierweiler were dedicated homebrewers who saw an opportunity to broaden the state’s craft beer scene and also have an impact on the community at large.

We've got two crowd favorites returning to the tap wall today!!! Great American Beer Fest gold medal winner, Mr. Oktoberfest, and our Docks No-No Double IPA!

Come down and enjoy a pint (or a snifter in the case of Docks), and a pizza from The Big Hot Woody and enjoy this spot on perfect weather!

Come Pawty like a rockstar with us this afternoon and get ready for the Annual Northport Dog Parade that will be happening this Saturday!
We may even get a guest appearance from Dave Greer and The Classic Jazz Stompers this afternoon/evening!

Our friends at The Big Hot Woody - North End Eatery will be open at 4 to fill that pizza shaped hole in your life!

On July 8, 2016, The Mitten Brewing Company - Northport opened. That day was a flurry of activity involving last minute licensing, a drive to Lansing, a van full of kegs, and a surprise hailstorm. But we wouldn’t trade it for the world.
