How do you keep your livestock cool?!
Forecast 100 degrees temps here in Pennsylvania. Here are some things that I do.
All fields with pigs have wallows with sprinklers in a programmable water timer.
Those fields that won’t hold a wallow (steep slope) have fogger misters under some sort of shade on timers. I’ll add a fan if heat is persistent.
If the fields don’t have enough trees they get a shade cloth or a trampoline.
I won’t feed their grain ration until evening (digestion creates heat)
I check as often as possible and make sure everyone gets up when I call them. An animal that doesn’t respond to you like they normally do may be in heat stress.
Drinking water flushed and kept cool.
I have electrolytes on hand if needed.

All day, all day! I spent trying to thwart this escape artist. I wasn’t in the house 5 minutes and she was at the door!!!! Some livestock guardian dog you are, Moki!! She is so proud of herself 🤦‍♀️
