The 2026 Worth County Fair is in the books! The Highlands and Harper had a great show yesterday.

Harper strutted her stuff and brought home a Champion Junior Showman buckle! 💚 Reba came in 2nd in her class. Nala won her class and went back in for the grand drive to be named 5th overall breeding heifer!

Kyle and I once again took part in the alumni showmanship competition. Kyle went all in stealing Harper’s brand new belt buckle and rocking a cowboy hat…it must have fooled the judge 😆 because he was named supreme showman!

Now home to rest, recover, and start working toward our fall show season!

15 year old Ciara delivered a beautiful dun bull calf early this morning. That’s now 6 bull calves and 1 heifer in the years we’ve owned her. I’m half tempted to try some heifer sexed semen just to see if she’d be the 1% who still manages to have a bull 😅
