Robey Farms

Robey Farms We are a Veteran owned small Family Farm based in Nortonville, Kansas. We rotate our hogs every 10 days into a new small pastures called a paddock.

Our focus is on producing the best pastured pork, chicken, lamb, beef and seasonal garden vegetables for our Family, Friends and Neighbors. How we raise our animals:
- Meat Chickens: We raise our birds outside and on pasture (once they get their feathers) in a chicken tractor that gets moved daily so they are always on fresh grass and fed grain. The breed we raise is called Big Red Boiler and are

similar in taste and size to a Heritage Breed meat chicken.
- Pork: We raise Berkshire pork, which is a Heritage Breed known for having the best tasting meat. Our pork is fed a diet of locally grown, purchased and fed grain in addition to fresh grass.
- Turkeys: We raise a Herritage breed of turkey called Red Bourban. They are also raised on Pasture in a Chicken Tractor and moved similar to the meat chickens.
-Beef: We raise our beef on pasture and finish our market animals on grain. We think that it gives our beef a nice marbling and taste.
