Who We Are

La Jara Brewing Company began as a hobby and quickly escalated into a passion for crafting ales and lagers of the highest quality using local and regional ingredients. This process and attention to detail has translated into great success in both local and national homebrewing competitions, most notably earning Best of Show in 2016 and 2nd Runner-Up Best of Show in 2018 for the Los Angeles Belgian Brew Challenge. Other awards include Blue Ribbons and Division Champion awards in the 2016 OC Fair, Silver and Bronze medals in the 2014 National Homebrewers Competition as well as being named the 2016 and 2018 Long Beach Homebrewer of the Year by the Long Beach Home Brewing Club.

With our process and techniques affirmed we have set our sites on bringing our passion and vision to the rest of our community.
