Thank you for making Earth Month 2026 such a meaningful success.
Your willingness to give your time, energy, and care to support our community partners reflects the very best of who we are. Whether you spent time at our booth at Eco Fest, Etzel Sugar Grove Farm, Matthew 25’s Cultivate Hope Corner Store and Urban Farm, or GROW at Kazimour Farm, your efforts made a real impact.

We are incredibly grateful for every volunteer who signed up, showed up, and contributed to these important projects.

We're turning 50!! As we look ahead to 2026, we're excited to share that our co-op is looking forward to this major milestone, and celebrating five decades of bringing sustainably sourced spices, botanicals, and natural products to homes across the globe.

Since our very beginning, we've believed that business should be used as a force for good in the world and have been guided by our purpose: Doing Good, Works. Operating today as a 50,000 member-owned cooperative under the Frontier Co-op, Simply Organic®, and Aura Cacia® brands, our legacy is rooted in serving shoppers the highest-quality products raised and processed with our responsibility to people and planet front of mind.

Shown below is our co-op's first board of directors circa 1979 and as we've grown since then, we’ve achieved so much together, including:

🌿 Championing organics as the first major herb and spice distributor to recognize and actively promote the value of organics & establishing the all-organic national brand Simply Organic® in 2001
🌿 Becoming the first to offer fair trade spices to the U.S. retail market
🌿 Launching the first nationally distributed Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) line of spices, flavorings and essential oils at retail

We’re proud of have centered our Well Earth® grant program to build long-term relationships with our sourcing communities and strengthen the resilience of farming communities and our supply chain partners since 2007. And more recently, we’re proud of our role in helping to break down barriers to employment and personal success for our employees and local community by ensuring access to important support services.

Yet, our legacy isn't just measured in years — it's measured in the meals we've helped create, the wellness rituals built, and the positive impact we've made together within our walls, in our communities, and at source with our partners and the smallholder farmers who work with them.

This celebration is just beginning. Throughout 2026, we'll be sharing special stories and exclusive moments to honor the journey we've built together. Thank you for making these 50 years possible. Here's to the next chapter.🤝
