The Masterbilt freezer is down and we need to move all frozen items today!!

Come on in for 50% off ALL frozen meats, breads, entrees, and more from the Masterbilt freezer.

Ask staff to help you to the walk-in where much of the product has been moved to this morning.

Since 2024 we have been transforming in big ways.

* We renovated the whole store
* We expanded our shelf space and brought in more products and vendors
* We have grown our team
* The building was repaired and painted
* The over hangs installed
* New cement and sliding doors
* We expanded our discount grocery department, and others
* We launched our food fund
* We are coming into our last stage of the basement project
* and so much more!!

As these big projects are beginning to come to a close, we are now able to start turning all of that big creative energy into the details of our operations and offerings.

We thank you ALL for your support through all of these changes!! The mess, the chaos, the noise, the mistakes, and the unknowns that have all been a part of this creative process. Thank you to the many people who saw the vision, who contributed, volunteered, and have shown up to do the work of bringing this all to life. There have been far to many to list everyone here, but we are grateful for every support, however small or large.

Lastly, a special shout out to our General Manager, Z**i. She has driven and led these transformations and has put her all into it being successful!

Now that the snow is gone and summer is just about here - it is time for an appreciation post!

Near the end of last fall and just as the snow was beginning to arrive, .dog.timberworks donated and installed the timber frames over our back door and our delivery door! Creative Building Solutions prepared for the installation and added the roof. The willingness to help, the kindness, and the vast skills of our owners is truly remarkable!

Thank you to all who had a hand in bringing this project together!! We are excited to continue adding to the warmth of the space and decorating as the seasons continue 🌱🌞🍂❄️

Like most other co-ops around the world, Fare Share puts our values into practice by following the guidelines shared in the Seven Cooperative Principles.

The 2nd Principle, Democratic Member-Owner Control, sets us apart from other businesses, giving every owner a voice in shaping the future of Fare Share. Our semi-annual Owner’s Meetings are where that magic happens!

Owner and vendor, Marcie Hartzell, will be available in the Co-op today, April 29th, from 12pm-3pm with sourdough materials, recipes, and starter for sale. Come and ask questions, share sourdough stories, and/or pick up a starter and start baking bread at home.

Pie day is coming up in 1 week! We invite you to join us for our 2nd pie potluck where we will enjoy a fun evening of eating different types of pie, playing games, music, and conversation.

All types of pie (and food) are welcome. If you want to sponsor a pie, Reed Mclean is offering to make 10 pies. You can contact Reed directly and pay for a sponsorshipat the register in the Co-op.

Join us this Friday evening at the Norway Grange Hall #45 from 5-7 PM for a community potluck dinner before the infamous annual Mellie Dunham Contra Dance! This evening kicks off the Western Foothills Land Trust Snowshoe Festival happening on Saturday and is a celebration of Norway's history of fiddles, contra dancing, snowshoes and community!
