There will be TWO Aint Seen Nothin Yet stallions to chose from in 2027 at the ND Bar! Welcome Aint Seen Any Better | “Bear”!

We got to watch his owner Kenzley Hausauer - and may we add, TALENTED hand - ride this gorgeous stallion yesterday. What an athletic, well built stallion that carries himself with such a presence!

We are honored to have someone with as much horse sense, knowledge, experience and feel as Elsabe Hausauer appreciate “Swagger” as much as we do. We knew he was special from the moment we laid eyes on him. To have this caliber of a rider excited about breeding to him speaks volumes and it’s what dreams are made of. Thank you, Elsabe!

The Pink Buckle.

Great experience. So much talent - both human and equine - in one setting.

ND I See It Now handled everything SO WELL! He even got a little piece of the pie 🥧 winning $2800, bringing his LTE to $11,424! While we were there we also got “Viz” fitted for his Robbie Phillips Saddlery 5-State Breeders Futurity saddle. Thank you again to all the sponsors!

Kasey Hiatt and Siggy Scheid - thank you again for the time you put into him. We will always be grateful for your hard work during those fun-filled early days 😬 of patterning and hauling.

Cydney Peterson, thanks for being a great travel partner, friend, trainer and jockey! How far you’ve brought this young stallion in the last 12 months is awe inspiring and a true testament to your perseverance, dedication and skill.

The future is bright at ND Bar Quarter Horses as we look forward to his Derby year and starting his first foals in 2027! We are proud of what he has accomplished already and believe he will prove to be a sire of winners!

This!

You can’t expect a horse to drive from behind if he gets anxious every time you add your leg. Before you can build collection, engagement, or true body control, your horse needs to understand that your leg is a cue, not something to fear.

A horse that braces, rushes, or gets worried when you add your leg isn’t truly driving from behind. He’s reacting to pressure instead of understanding it.

First, teach him to accept the pressure, understand the cue, and find the release. Then you can start building that drive from behind. You can’t build softness through tension, and you can’t build true collection without confident forward motion.

Our hands and legs need to work together, with timing and a release that helps him understand. We have to give that forward energy somewhere to go. I try to come back to this foundation: confidence in the leg, freedom in the feet, and softness without losing forward motion.

Collection takes time. It starts with understanding, balance, and a horse that feels comfortable moving forward.

I’m thankful God gives us opportunities to practice patience and gentleness with the horses He’s entrusted to us. My prayer is to ride with clear cues, thoughtful releases, and a humble heart every day.

“Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” — Colossians 3:12
