A love letter to our community + our first shop:
From the moment we moved into the space at 1605 Grand Avenue, I will never forget how blown away I was by the natural light hitting the shop. It had this magical way of reminding you to stop and appreciate the beauty around you. The reflections of words meaningful to us and to Mesa Rose would scatter the walls at any given moment of the day depending on how the light hit.
To say we learned the hard way is a complete understatement of the half decade we have resided in this shop. We had absolutely no idea what we were doing. If you have been with us from the beginning (you know who you are), I thank you for sticking with us and being our best support. We have grown and evolved before your eyes, changing the shop more times than expected to accommodate growing needs and a busier space.
You all were a tough community to break into, caution all over the place when we opened Mesa Rose back in 2021, but slowly, we built trust and friendship. We know your names, we know your kids and grandkids names, we know your birthday, we know your favorite drinks and can recommend things we truly know you will love. You all have truly become family.
Because of this love for our community, we are beyond excited to announce that we are moving our shop—albeit across the street (diagonal). This is a great move that will give us the ability to grow the business to where we dream of it going. At 1590 Grand Ave, we will have outdoor seating and are going for a liquor license. Think boozy brunches, amazing cocktails + mocktails, evening date nights with charcuterie and small plates... the list is endless for us!
Our last day in the current Mesa Rose is, Friday August 21st, we will be taking a much needed vacation and then we have movers coming on August 28th. We hope to be set up and ready to rock by end of September, beginning of October at the latest.
