In LOVE with this Asian sticky corn! 😍

I’ve never seen fresh sticky/waxy corn. So last year, I grew out one packet of imported seeds but they didn’t do great so I let them go to seed. I replanted them in a freshly sheet mulched bed with a full load of aged horse manure. They took off despite zero irrigation with several plants bearing two ears of corn.

The colors are stunning. And it’s so fun to eat chewy, bouncy kernels. I can’t wait to save seeds again to grow out next season!

A beautiful day for week two of our Dandelion Summer Share. It’s garlic scape season -nature’s noodles pre-infused with garlicky goodness. We have lush heads of lettuce, crunchy snap and snow peas, Swiss chard, pea shoots, radishes from Roots in Reverie, fresh herbs, and overwintered ginger!

Some of you already know Greyson & Felix have hatched their first brood! We are so proud of them for patiently sitting 28 long days through heat waves and wind storms. Each baby is so precious. Welcome to the world wee ones 🤍

First CSA pick-up of the season! It was great to see new and familiar faces. All of the animals came to say hi as well. And of course it’s so wonderful to be eating fresh, locally-grown produce again!
