Farm Update- please read and share ❤️

08/13/2026

We’re asking our farm community to rally around someone who has always shown up for ours. ❤️
Our good friend Matt Curry was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Matt is a huge part of our small community and someone we appreciate more than words can say.
Matt wears so many hats. He’s a talented butcher who has processed custom-cut pigs and beef for many of our customers, and he’s also the Fire Chief in Nottingham, where he is a tremendous leader and mentor to his fellow firefighters. He’s the kind of person who shows up whenever someone needs a hand- whether it’s in the firehouse, at the butcher shop, wrangling pigs onto a trailer, or simply as a friend.
We also met his wife, Shannon, when she cared for us in the Labor & Delivery unit after our daughter was born.
Matt has spent so much of his life showing up for others, serving his community, and helping his neighbors. Now it’s our turn to show up for Matt and his family.
We’re incredibly grateful for everything Matt has done for us, and our community. Please consider supporting Matt, Shannon, and their family during this incredibly difficult time. Whether you’re able to donate, share their story, or simply keep them in your prayers, every bit of support matters. ❤️

Firefighters, neighbors, and friends of Nottingham are rallying behind Fire Chief Matthew Curry as he fights lymphoma. He's tough, it's treatable, but it's a long road. Here's how you can help.

🐝🍯🍃

👀🐝 Swarm Watch 2026 🐝👀 Away we go! It's swarm season. Heathy, strong honey bee colonies throughout NH will begin swarming as part of a natural reproductive process. Swarms are often found clustered in bushes and trees as scout bees from the swarm search for a suitable new home. While they can look scary, swarms are generally very docile. If you see a swarm please don't panic or spray them with pesticides. Many local beekeepers are more than willing to come get them. If you're in the Nottingham, NH area you can reach out to me and I will try to help relocate them. You can also reach out to a beekeeping club local to your area or the NH Beekeepers Association.

Psst, please pass it on.
