Hay shed is pretty full, We gotta go in and fix the pile sense the boys like to play on them 🤦‍♀️😂Thankful for all the boys who helped load and unload the last two loads of hay, Couldn’t have done it without them , We have maybe 2-3wks before we get our last load of second cut, And if all goes well my hay guy may have some 3rd cut in a month and a half or so😊💕🐐🐴🐑🐇🫏

It’s been a crazy week around here, Last Saturday we added two new faces to the farm, It started out as one and was asked by an amazing farm if we would take her friend as well, On Tuesday one of our Nubians kidded, With buck/doe twins, Unfortunately the buck was so tiny he didn’t make it☹️ We were sad, But his sister is doing amazing, she is super sweet, and is eating like crazy, Caleb is in love with her and has taken it upon himself to make sure she gets her feedings and he even comes out to help me milk 💕😍🐐

This is our boy Gizmo he is a Columbia cross sheep, He’s such a sweet boy, he doesn’t live here on the farm with us, But he lives close by at my work, Where we get to see all the time🐑💕😊

This is Lunas sweet girl born in the early am of April 22nd, She is also the sweetest thing, and looks so much like her big sister Beauty, Unfortunately she was the only one out of three who made it, We are completely sad at the loss of her brothers, and sad for the awesome home that one of her brothers was going to, But as that is farm life, We move on and continue to strive to hopefully end the kidding season on a better note, We had tossed around the idea of keeping this little girl and I said we weren’t going to keep any Nigerians this year, But this little one there is something about her, So I’ll formally introduce the newest member of our herd

Winters sweet baby girl, Was born on March 22, She was a bit of a surprise as I thought we had another 1-2wks, I kept and eye on her and she had barely an udder when I checked her that morning before I headed off to work, I got home a few hours later to winter down in the hay shed screaming, Thankfully she had just started to push and after a bit she wasn’t making any progress so I had to go and check to see what the hold up was, Well this little girl was trying to come just head first like a damn fish, So I had to go in and find front legs, Found them fairly quickly and she came flying out after lol, She was the only one, and she looks along like her mom, She has found the perfect home with a baby goat brother and some very excited human kids waiting for her, 💕🐐🥰

We have 12 dozen eggs available in the fridge out front, $4 a dozen, The girls are laying like crazy and we are getting almost two dozen a day💕🐔🐥🥚🍳
