Handsome 7 y/o 16.1hh TB gelding with an irresistible personality. Excellent flat work, huge step, big jump, and semi-auto changes. Hacks out alone or with others. Has shown locally in 2'3-2'6 hunters, completed hunter paces, and done extensive trail riding. Would do best with an educated rider as he is very responsive to your aids. No vices.

Quiet Meadow Farm is searching for a groom to join us at WEC Ohio 11/12-11/17.

Responsibilities include: bathing, lunging, cleaning stalls, watering/feeding, tacking horses and walking to rings, setting jumps and wrapping.

🐴*Accepting New Clients/Training Horses*🐴

Join Quiet Meadow Farm at River Run Stables in Novelty, Ohio. We have a limited number of stalls available for full-board for new clients/horses, joining our Lesson / Training programs.

We show locally (CVF, Brave Horse, WEC Ohio) and travel to larger shows such as Kentucky, HITS Culpepper, Tryon, WEC Ocala, Brownland, Lamplight, etc. taking riders from intermediate up to National Finals, Devon, Indoors, etc. in the Hunter/Jumpers/Equitations. We take green horses and motivated riders through the levels, no matter what your goals are we would love to help you or your horse reach them.

Facility: 12x12 large, airy stalls with rubber mats, Nelson waterers, and commercial fans in every stall. 100x200 Indoor, large all-weather outdoor and all-weather turnout paddocks. Grass fields (weather permitting). Tack room with individual lockers, 4-wash stalls with hot/cold water, laundry, restrooms and a lounge. Quality hay/grain fed 3x per day. Stalls cleaned daily.

Boarders MUST take lessons or be part of our training program with our facility trainers (Stefanie Portman / Shirley Kopas). We are a private facility with no outside trainers. You do not have to show, but all boarders must take lessons or be in a training program. We do not do "just board" due to the limited number of horses we keep our facility at to ensure we are not overcrowded.

What a summer we have had at Quiet Meadow Farm! As Fall/Winter approaches, we fondly take a look back at Spring and Summer! 💐☀️

We kicked off the season with a great group of riders and horses who headed to Brave Horse in June. In July, we had a fantastic time at HITS Chicago at the Lamplight Equestrian Center with great placings by everyone! The group then traveled to HITS Culpeper in August, with Stefanie and Erin Miller’s Argento placing 9th out of 33 beautiful horses in their first derby back together!

Shirley also took a group of riders up to Erie Hunt and Saddle Club schooling show in August—with everyone having a wonderful time! To finish off the summer we all had a blast at the Brave Horse IX, with Stefanie Portman and Jodi Fryar’s Famos Amos finishing 2nd in the derby with a flawless round! 🤩

Looking ahead, we are excited to head back to WEC Ohio in October and November! 🎃🍁
