Good afternoon everyone! We’re hope you’re enjoying this sun-shining day. We have a very important update for you all.

Due to moving, we are no longer accepting orders for Olmsted Township or Middleburg Heights effective immediately. We will be moving with our flock to Geauga County.

We apologize for the short notice but have really enjoyed our customers these past several years! We thank you for your loyalty and patience with us during our time with you all.

If you know anyone in the Geauga County area, please send them our way!

Also, I just had shoulder surgery so I’m currently getting around with one arm. I’m doing my best to get orders out as soon as possible, but please just keep in mind that I will only have one arm for approximately four weeks.

Due to an illness in our household, we will not be accepting new customers indefinitely, and if you are currently on our list, I appreciate your patience. Existing orders will be experiencing a long delay getting filled.

It seems this winter has been a struggle for most chicken owners! Significant decrease in egg production, sometimes zero production, and raised prices for feed and necessities! We greatly appreciate our customers and are very thankful for your patience while we work through these slow times to fulfill your orders ☺️

Did you know, chickens egg productivity significantly decreases in the winter? They can even stop laying eggs completely!

You would think it would be due to the frigid temperatures, but there’s actually more to it.

Chickens significantly decrease their laying productivity primarily due to the lack of sunlight. Chickens require at least 12 hours of light per day to continue egg productivity. There is the option to provide hens with artificial lighting in the winter to continue egg laying, but some people believe that’s harmful and you should let the hens bodies take a rest.

With all of that in mind, in the winter we typically cannot accommodate for large egg orders! Also, please be patient with us when placing egg orders because they can take longer than normal. ☺️
