Took a little social media break for the month of January. I’m back, and the first thing I want to say is that we have the BEST crew in all the land. This has been a really tough winter—not only on the animals, but on all of us. The staff still shows up every bitter cold morning, finding ways to make the most of it and keep a positive attitude. Even on the days we’re hauling water from the bathroom multiple times a day just to make sure our horses have warm water and are taken care of.

I also want to highlight all of the boarders, clients and friends who brought the staff lunch/snacks to keep them warm and came out to help whenever possible. Our HCF family is truly the best ever.

Here’s to everyone out there working hard to care for the animals in this cold weather; it’s not for the weak, so give yourself a pat on the back and hug your horses because we are only 47 days away from mud season 😂

What a truly amazing year it’s been. We are endlessly thankful for the incredible team that makes everything possible—our hardworking staff, trusted veterinarians, knowledgeable farriers, wonderful massage therapists, chiropractors, and the amazing Magnawave crew. We’re also so grateful for our inspiring instructors, the clinics that help us grow, and the shows that keep things exciting. Thank you to everyone who played a part in such a special year. We’re so excited to see what 2026 has in store—here’s to a happy, healthy, and successful New Year! 🎉
