I want to apologize to the public and our loyal and wonderful customers. Last night the Cafe was burglarized. In the dead of night they came in and removed vital equipment. They removed the grill and the fryer. They took just enough other things to make it impossible for me to open today. We are scrambling to replace what was taken and I will reopen as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Starting Monday, our hours will be 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, subject to slight adjustments. We've invested in extensive training for our team this week, welcoming experienced kitchen staff from other restaurants. Our front staff are now well-versed in order-taking procedures. I'll be overseeing front-of-house operations and may be serving your table.😁 We did cut down on the menu a little bit we will always be adding more to it but we figured to start we didn't want to overwhelm our Cooks until they got used to the menu items. And we are sorry about the baked potato incident Tuesday we really forgot to put baked potatoes in the oven it won't happen again.

We are going to open Friday at 10:30 with a new slim down menu and an easier to read menu we will close tomorrow for training I appreciate and thank you

Again, like I said, we're closing today to revamp some stuff and redo the menus. They're going to be a smaller menu and they'll be done today. We're also doing some more training today. Yesterday showed us what we were doing wrong, and there was a lot. I do apologize again; please, please forgive me for yesterday.

Firstly, I would like to thank each and every one of you who took the time to visit us today. Unfortunately, we experienced some difficulties, including extended wait times, incorrect orders, and general disorganization, for which we apologize. As this was our first night, we were still ironing out some issues. We are committed to learning from these challenges and providing a better experience moving forward. If your order was not fulfilled correctly, please let us know so we can make it right. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. We are postponing tomorrow's opening to focus on perfecting our operations and providing our staff with comprehensive training.

I reflect on the incredible journey we've undertaken with this building, and I'm overcome with pride. We've invested countless hours, tireless effort, and unwavering dedication into this project, often with limited financial resources. A heartfelt thank you to my exceptional business partner, Mechelle Johnson, for her unwavering commitment. As we step into 2026, I'm filled with bound optimism. The only melancholy is knowing my father isn't here to witness this triumph, but I sense he'd be beaming with pride - sometimes dreams do come true.
