I'm a sucker for a good story and this is going to be a great one. Cooper Jellison decided he wanted to show a goat. His family is neighbors with the Rolph family who recommended they call us. Those of you who have been following us for awhile will remember Kaylee. They came to our Open Barn Sale and a little bottle baby quickly made his way to Cooper. I told them his story and found out they always root for the "under dog" because Cooper barely weighed 1 lb when he was born but with lots of prayers and grace, here he is all boy doing all kinds of boy things. Cooper didn't want his goat to be lonely so we picked out a sweet little bottle baby doe to go with him.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and they made their debut at the Washington County Fair. The wether, "Kevin" from Home Alone, won his class and helped Cooper win 2nd Place in showmanship. The little doe was 2nd in her class. These are the things that warm my heart and keep me going to the barn at crazy hours.
We are going to see a lot more out of this trio ❤️

The Cook kids battled til the end at the Ottawa County Fair last night.
Gracie came out with all the prizes for Reserve Grand Market Goat with her Loser's Weepers x Crazy purchased at The Exhibition.
Wyatt was 3rd overall with his private treaty purchase of a Tag Me In x Nubs (9098) bred by Schovanec/Kester.
Gracie also won Sr Showmanship for the 2nd year in a row.
