We will remain outdoors in the Main Street parking lot year-round! Regular hours of 8am to 2pm every Thursday, rain or shine.

REGULAR HOURS: Every Thursday, 8:00am to 2:00pm through April-December, rain or shine

WINTER HOURS: Every Thursday, 9:00am to 1:00pm, January-March, weather permitting. As a four-season Farmers Market, we’re outdoors in the Main Street parking lot all year!

Nyack Farmers Market is proud to support the ReRun Sneaker Drive, organized by Nyack High School student and athlete Twyla Dawson-Hollis .

ReRun will distribute your donated gently used soccer cleats, athletic sneakers and running shoes to children in underserved communities. Twyla is partnering with non-profit Share Your Soles to help distribute the shoes

In addition to the Nyack Farmers Market drop off locations include Nyack Neighborhood Veterinary and Bach to Rock Nanuet.

The Nyack Farmer’s Market will now be a collection point for Rockland Green’s Food Scrap Program.

Collect food scraps in a small bin on your countertop or under the sink. Line the bin with Rockland Green’s compostable brown bags. Bags are available at Nyack Village Hall and Nyack Library during working hours.

Transfer the bagged food scraps from your small bin into a larger white or green bin, and store them until you’re ready to drop them off.

Drop Off your bagged food scraps at Nyack’s Food Scrap Drop-off Site, located at 63 Catherine Street, Nyack, NY. Located adjacent to the gates at the front of the building and now...the Nyack Farmers Market on Thursdays from 8am - 2pm.

Only bagged waste can go in the bucket, no un-bagged waste.

What Goes in the Composting Bags?

Acceptable Items:
Fruits and Vegetables (remove stickers, bands, and ties)
Meat & Poultry (bones okay)
Fish & Shellfish (shells okay)
Dairy Products
Bread, Pasta, Rice & Grains Eggshells
Chips, Snacks, Beans, Nuts & Seeds
Leftover & Spoiled Food
Coffee Grounds (paper filters okay)
Tea Bags (no staples)
Cut Flowers

Non-Acceptable Items:
No plastic bags, compostable
bags, packaging, stickers,
rubber bands, or twist ties
No pet waste, baby wipes, foil,
paper plates, or paper towels
No plastic, glass, metal, or
kitchenware

If it’s not on the list, it’s not compostable in Rockland County!
