This weekend we had the opportunity to attend the Georgia Christmas Tree Growers Association meeting at Skipper Family Farms.
It was a great opportunity to spend time with other Christmas tree growers, see how other farms operate, learn new ideas, and talk about everything that goes into growing a quality Christmas tree.
Every time we attend one of these meetings, we come home with more knowledge, more ideas, and even more excitement about what we’re building here at The Ole Mill Yard.
We may still be a few years away from having our own trees ready, but we’re putting in the work now to make sure we’re ready when that time comes.
A big thank you to Skipper Family Farms for hosting and to all the growers who were willing to share their knowledge and experience.
