If you have ever spent any time at all in Western NY/Buffalo area you know about Loganberry. Crystal Beach to be exact. On our way home we stopped in good old Tonawanda and went to Tops and got a few cases. It has been well over a decade since I have had any. Also yes it has dye, dont come for me.

Have you ever had Loganberry? If you have what are your thoughts on it?

Buffalo area has so many good things that seem to be just a "them" thing and it was good to bring some home.

I fell in love with this place more than I expected.

To the point I have a child who stared at the ocean in the same spot for over an hour and was sad we had to leave today.

We live by the Great Lakes. Lake Erie is practically our back yard, but the North Atlantic feels totally different.

Acadia was our last National Park on the East side of the country to accomplish and that felt absolutely fitting to be the final one on this side. Who knows if we will fall in love with the West next year. But I feel like the East is where our hearts really lie. We may live in the Midwest, but barely. Most people don't think Ohio is part of the Midwest anyway.

It was absolutely what we needed as our end of summer trip, and we can't wait to come back.

Im not chic, but I will skip school to go on trips, and spend more time with my family.
