This week’s Nicaragua at the point where we marked the end of the drying phase in our roasting software. The exterior of the beans are at roughly 315F at this point in the roast.

Before and after from one batch of this week’s natural process Uganda. After moisture loss from roasting, 5 lbs of green beans turns into 4 lbs, 4oz roasted beans. And a ~30% ish? increase in volume.

We'll be at the Tomato Lady plant sale on May 16! Brewed coffee samples and bags of coffee for sale.

Last night's frost slowed things down a bit at the first Saturday of Tomato Lady Oak Park's vegetable sale, but everything was smooth upon opening. See a great selection, especially the tomatoes, but lots of other vegetables and herbs. Sale will be held the next 2 Saturdays this month.

Saturday the 16th features a super cool SEOP mini-market with Lyman Ave. Bread, Sideyard Coffee and Old Gaffer's Garden.
