Tuesday throwback to one of the cakes I’m still ridiculously proud of. ⚔️💚

This Minecraft sword cake pushed me way outside my comfort zone. I’ve never had to measure cake so carefully or figure out so many angles just to make everything line up. It definitely tested my patience, but seeing it all come together made every second worth it.

The best part? It’s all buttercream. No fondant, just cake, buttercream, and a whole lot of measuring (and maybe a little panicking 😂).

It’s not perfect, and I can already see things I’d do differently now, but that’s one of my favorite parts of decorating. Every challenge teaches me something new, and I can’t wait for the next one.

Some cakes are more than dessert—they’re a way to relive one of life’s most treasured memories. 🤍

For this beautiful 25th anniversary celebration, we had the honor of recreating not one, but two wedding cakes from the couple’s special day. One featured timeless buttercream roses, while the other was finished with fresh chocolate-covered strawberries for a sweet modern touch.

There’s something incredibly special about bringing a wedding cake back to life 25 years later. It’s a reminder that love grows, memories stay sweet, and some moments are worth celebrating all over again.
