HERE COMES CRUSH! And with it, the MFV Harvest Experience! Spend a morning with us picking grapes, crushing them with our own toes (and a crusher/de-stemmer, too) eating and tasting some wine! Weekend days starting in September, 8-12 in the morning.

Well I'LL BE. We did it again. Entered our newest wine in the the Orange County Commercial Wine Competition this year. It's our FIRST vintage of the Sicilian Nero d'Avola, and it appears John and Louie have a knack for it.

GOLD MEDAL.

Warm congratulations to the whole gang, and a special handshake to the visitors who helped us pick those grapes this year. It's backbreaking because the grapes are "low hanging fruit"...not easy for tall folks!

Asked for a comment, Farmer John replied, "HOT DOG!"
