At this point my girls are laying the prettiest colors of blue, pink, brown, tan, & now green! 😍

We would just like everyone to know that with the price of raising our chickens & feeding them, our egg prices have gone up $1.00
A dozen chicken eggs will now be $4.
Still very much worth it but just wanted to give a heads up on future egg orders!

Remember those 2 tiny little heartbeats in one giant egg? In 24 hours they have doubled in size! Incubating & candling eggs is seriously one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. • Did you know that the odds of having a double yolk egg are 1 in 1,000? Remember the giant egg that one of our girls laid? I decided to incubate it just for fun. Well… while candling eggs last tonight, this beauty showed not only 2 yolks BUT 2 HEARTBEATS!! ♥️ How awesome is that?! The chances of 2 chicks hatching is very slim but how cool would it be if I could actually hatch fraternal twin chicks?! 👀 stay tuned! 2 more days until the incubator goes on lockdown! Watching these baby chicks grow has been so awesome! I can’t wait to see what they look like outside of their eggs! 😍 6 more days until hatch day! 🐣 🐣

Just a little look at how awesome incubating and candling eggs is! 🔦 🥚 This egg has been in the incubator for 11 days. This was the first egg from the incubator that I was able to confirm was fertilized and developing at just 4 days inside the incubator with a tiny little flicker of a heartbeat. Now, this baby chick looks like a tiny dragon moving around in there! 💛 6 more days until lockdown & then 4 days until they start hatching!! I can hardly contain my excitement! #chicks #incubator #minifarm # eggcandling

🏘️ We expanded our coops! 🐓🏠🦆 I forgot all about getting an after video because it was 1:30 in the morning when we finally finished but our flock has now been expanded SIGNIFICANTLY! 🥰 The ducks were on cloud9 once they got into their new coop/run! This has taken lots of hard work & late nights but I am so excited about it! 👀 Peep ”Shady Pines Retirement Village” (still missing the sign. I’ve got to get it finished 😅) for my Golden Girls at the end. 💕
