Please welcome one of our latest additions! He was not planned or sought out, but when opportunity knocks, you take it! This handsome little dude made his way all the way from A little Funny Farm in Virginia! THANK YOU, Emily. And a huge thank you to our friends at Falkner Farm for transporting our precious cargo!

A LITTLE FUNNY FARM JAQNH'GHER
(JAH-kin HAH-gahr) one of the faceless men from the prophecy of Ice and Fire in the realm of Game of Thrones. We are calling him Prophet to make things easier. ;)

Prophet is the epitome of good linebreeding, as he is tightly linebred on his sire BETTER WAYZ HAMMER IN THE SKY. Who is sired by one of the top production bucks in the industry, Old Mountain Farm Elton Jay. We love his beautiful structure, length and he absolutely oozes dairy character.

We look forward to using him heavily in the future.

Photos all courtesy of Emily at a little Funny Farm.

Winning Streak MP Brutus has arrived from California! Many thanks to Sarah for arranging for Brutus to join us here at Spotted Acres Farm, and to Jordan at Flying Feets for allowing us to add him to our buck herd.

Brutus has many common ancestors that we've been working diligently to include in our pedigrees already, so adding him to the herd, just makes sense! He's a handsome exceptionally long and wide structured gentleman. Plus, he is NOT a carrier for Congenital Myotonia! Win/win! Brutus has quite a few mature milking daughters at the Bitterbrush farm (his prior owner) and we are hoping for many daughters to come. Welcome home, Brutus!
