The Corner Kitchen

The Corner Kitchen We cook and deliver healthy, affordable meals to people living in Alameda County's food deserts. Last year, Americans threw away $130 billion worth of food.

Meanwhile, 42 million Americans struggled with food insecurity, and fast food workers struggled to make a living on less than $15 per hour. We're connecting the dots:

We supplement the living wages of fast food workers by hiring them to cook, sell, and deliver meals to people living in neighborhoods where there aren't a lot of healthy food options. We reduce food waste by incorporating imperfect

produce (produce that is perfectly healthy to eat, but gets thrown away because of cosmetic imperfections) into our meals. This also makes our meals more price competitive.
