Holy Moly!, the Emerald Cup Indoor Flower Breeder's Cup Winner
Holy Moly! by Fig Farms is this year's Breeder's Cup award winner for indoor cannabis flower.
Fig Farms created the Holy Moly! strain by pollinating Banana Fig flowers with Animal Mints pollen. Holy Moly!'s terpene profile was classified by the Emerald Cup as "Dessert", with tasting notes of cherry, chocolate sauce and Tootsie Pop center.

Happy Father's Day!
Side note we've been hunting males for close to two years. Every seed pop we do we collect a few new ones.
Our collection of males in the mom room is up to around 30 not including the 20+ we are flowering right now. As we hunt the off spring we slowly zone in on males that we think add something fun to the mix. Hunting a female plant is much easier and a lot less time consuming, after a cycle you know whether it's a keeper or not. The male plants you won't know until you pollinate a female, shuck the seeds, pop those seeds and hunt them. 6-12 months from the point of collecting pollen decisions start being made. All of this is in hopes of finding the next best fig.
This pic is from Friday as we tried to comb through the new batch that's flowering to eliminate some. Can you guess why we thought this one was interesting?

Sneak peak at the Fig cover for the August 2022 issue of .
5 years ago we won our first cup at the Nor Cal High Times Cup with a single plant pheno hunt. That recognition propelled Fig Farms forward, gave us the boost we needed to keep doing things our way. Fast forward we are still breeding and popping seeds and honing our skills. We built Fig one light and one plant at a time...through blood, sweat and tears.
There's so much gratitude here words can't express.

I remember when urkle and gdp hit the market, not sure anything's ever been the same. What was the first purple strain you got a hold of?

Can you guess the strain? This is another all time favorite of mine that has been in heavy rotation since we hunted it.

Can you guess how many strains are in this room? This room has 96 750 watt lights, 50 tons of cooling and dehumidification. This room crushed and got us our biggest yield to date on its first run.🌱
