Skate wings!! Delicious, soft, sweet meat. Thanks to John at I was able to get some whole skate for the first time. Normally the market only sells the wings. Catch em at the while you can.

Memorial Day Weekend is upon us! That means the start of the outdoor farmer’s market season. Catch us (RAIN OR SHINE) at Friday and Saturday. will be there as well!

We spent our days off driving around picking up the best seafood for your holiday weekend. A nice fat yellowfin tuna from Panama. Gansett Point oysters from in Narragansett. And fluke, Black Sea bass, and porgy from John in CT.

I spy with my mongering eye … wild, local, super-fresh black sea bass! 🌙

When Zack walks around every week, he’s keeping a keen eye out for quality. When he sees fish that’s still in rigor, he can’t pass it up! This fish has only been out of the water for a short amount of time, which means a fresher product for the customer and a longer shelf life for the monger. Zack may be sleep deprived, but his skillful eye is the reason we have some of the best fish around.
