A little over halfway to my goal of 120 leghorns on the ground. This group hatched yesterday. I’ll set one more clutch of eggs, those plus what is already in the incubator should get me to around 120.

This is what my chicken area looks like now. No water actually made it into any of the coops, but I wasn't going to risk it. Wound up having to move the birds a second time last night around 10 pm. Woke up this morning to a few inches of water in the building they were in after the first move. I'm glad I moved them again last night. They are all doing great now besides being stressed out. Looks like the water has stopped coming up. Hopefully it recedes quickly so I can get birds washed up for the Hollister show next weekend!

Forgot to post this, took 10 young leghorns to the Stevenson Poultry Classic; 2 cockerels and 8 pullets. This pullet too...

Forgot to post this, took 10 young leghorns to the Stevenson Poultry Classic; 2 cockerels and 8 pullets. This pullet took Reserve champion SCCL. It was a great first show of the season. I am excited to see how they do in other shows.
