An unforgettable evening with Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award–winning artist John Legend ().

As golden hour gave way to night at our estate, a toast from our winemaker, Kurtis Ogasawara, marked the moment before an intimate performance. Featuring a selection of Legend’s most iconic songs, the evening brought guests together through music, wine and place.

A series of remarkable Robert Mondavi wines defined our Grand Estate Reveal. Bottles were unveiled hour by hour, taking guests on a journey back through the decades of To Kalon Vineyard. Each pour a reflection of time, place and the enduring character of our estate.

As the evening progressed, the energy built with each new vintage, culminating in a final pour from 1974, connecting past and present in a way that could only happen in that moment.

To close, guests were invited to sign the 1974 bottle, leaving their mark on a piece of the winery’s history.

Our Grand Estate Reveal was designed as a complete sensory experience, where thoughtfully curated fare and wine came together to reflect the spirit of our transformed estate.

A striking ice installation, sculpted in the form of our iconic Arch and Tower, featured chilled seafood, welcoming guests into the evening.

Jamón carved to order and a progression of small plates carried the night forward, each element designed to complement the wines.

As the evening unfolded, mini burgers kept the energy going late into the night. To close, affogatos from our Pastry Chef offered a final moment of indulgence and a nod to Mondavi’s Italian roots.

From first taste to last, each detail was part of the reopening experience, where heritage meets renewal.

Three immersive experiences at our Grand Estate Reveal celebration invited guests into the world of Robert Mondavi Winery.

Scent Immersion Room: An intimate olfactory journey with FLWR Napa Valley exploring the aromas of our To Kalon Vineyard.

Production Room: Set within the winery’s industrial core, a live cello performance by Jonah Kim accompanied a tasting of two large-format wines—1998 and 2017—bookend vintages from former Head Winemaker Geneviève Janssens, illustrating the evolution of craft across time.

Archive Room: Guests explored Robert Mondavi’s legacy through wine and archival posters, tracing our deep connection to music and culture in Napa.

Our reimagined Vineyard Room is an immersive expression of place, serving as the heart of our hospitality experience and home to our signature tastings: Pioneer, Visionary and Legend.

Framed by expansive glass walls and a distinctive-V structure, the space opens to sweeping views of the To Kalon Vineyard and the Mayacamas Mountains. Every detail is intentionally composed to keep the land at the center of each tasting experience.

Here, guests are invited to slow down, connect and experience Robert Mondavi Winery through both environment and craft, in a setting that is at once expansive, deeply rooted in place and defined by light.
