Not often I get to just sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of country life. Got to enjoy a beautiful sunset last night and the herd tonight. Frogs croaking, birds chirping, bugs buzzing...It'll be an everyday thing in 7 months and 3 days!

Got side tracked the last few weekends after, for a second time, a cow breached the fence between me and my neighbor. Had to remove some of the old fence, cut trees and old trunks and moved it in a bit to get around others. It is said...Build your fence horse high, pig tight, and bull strong. Mission accomplished.

One year ago today I won the bid to acquire the property where I am building the Barndo. What a difference a year makes. Blood, sweat, and tears made it possible.
