What a great group of animals we had for Scotty’s first year of showing! He is having a real hard time saying goodbye to Miss Strawberry🥺 The hard lessons are the ones worth learning.

Farm Fact Friday …. Fair edition🎡🐮

Did you know???

When showing market beef projects at the fair you can only enter 2 into the auction, even if you show more than that! Kiddos and their families then try to find private buyers for their projects! Private buyers can be a business or anyone!

That’s what Scotty has to do with his angus steer this year! He has poured sweat, blood and tears into ALL of his projects this year! Sent out countless buyers letters, and now would like to find a private buyer!

The Livestock auction will starts tomorrow at 8:30AM at The Ross Expo Center! If your are looking to give back to the community and support your local 4H kiddos tomorrow would be the perfect opportunity for ya💕

⭐️If you are unable to attend the auction ALL the kiddos have add on options that you can do right from your phone! Proceeds goes directly to the kids for future projects!⭐️

Another group of kiddos we would be honored to spotlight is Ruth Howells and the Lindsey Family, especially Drew and Luke!

⭐️Ruth used to work for us, she is now doing an internship down at ATI we miss her dearly but are so proud of her! She helped Scotty with his first show ever, by being with him while he showed Hardy!

⭐️Drew and Luke Lindsey really helped boost Scotty’s confidence, and helped him walk Strawberry for almost TWO hours the night before the show, they stayed out so late that they ended up being the only ones in there! Drew was even with Scotty for the show, when he won his third place ribbon! The confidence boost they gave him deff showed when he did showmanship all by himself🥹

So from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU so much! We appreciate all your help this week, I don’t think we would of survived it😂 or Scotty have the outcome that he did🏆 For being his first year we are more than humbled and blessed to say the least, he is excited to come back for next year already, and that’s what it’s all about!

We want to give a huge THANKS and CONGRATULATIONS to Miss Kyleigh Klingshirn!

If you do not know Kyleigh works for us at the farm! She is one of a kind in every single way, for a young lady she shows up everyday at 6AM, with a smile on her face, takes care of the calves and all the other odds and ends! She goes above and beyond, even takes care of our chickens and dog when we go on vacation! She loves on the kids and barn cats (especially Kevin😂)

Kyleigh has become part of our family and we are so sad yet proud to see her go back to college and move on to her next chapter in life! She is part of the JFB and has helped us all week at fair, she even showed one of Scotty’s steers since they were in the same weight class!

All her hard work paid off this year as she won Supreme Market Beef Showman😍 This being her last year showing, it will definitely be one to remember!

With all that being said please consider adding on to her fair project, this kiddo deserves it❤️
