Haven't posted for a while, but we just picked up a new horse to replace the 1206. The 1206 will be returning to the grandsons of the original owner. They plan to completely restore it. This one will be a nice improvement in comfort with the cab and air conditioning and I can already tell it is going to be much quieter. Made a 500 mile round trip to north of Wabash Indiana to pick it up. 1979 White 2-135

Notilling soybeans. The weeds were sprayed/burnt down a day prior. This style of planter was the original notill planter and is still working good 50 years later.

Finished up my corn yesterday. Planter modifications worked good. We took the end transport off and had kelderman hinges welded in to fold outside row in on each side.

Slowly working at the barn building/moving/project. We tore down the old barn beside the house piece by piece so we could reuse as much as possible on this barn. The old barn location will eventually be the location for a new shop/paint booth for my other side job - Sandknob Restorations. I did have to buy some new poles, but most will be recycled from the old barn and a few other barns that friends gave us parts from. This barn will pretty much just be used for equipment storage and straw storage.

Started cutting the holes out of the gravity wagon tonight. Cutting thru the sheetmetal burns thru cutoff wheels faster than I expected. The metal is thicker than I expected as well, so I should have plenty to weld to. I have about four more spots to cut out. I cut up another junk gravity bed last year for spare sheetmetal.

Haven't updated for a while. Bunch of repairs going on. Dere 7000 planter is at the welding shop getting front fold hinges put on and a new hitch. Getting ready to cut out sections of floor to repair on one gravity wagon, and need to repair brakes on 1206. Traded an old combine off for a 10 row bean planter (15" rows) and hoping to work out a deal to replace the 190 tractor.

Last variety of the Golden Harvest corn plot going into the weigh wagon. We planted seven varieties of Golden Harvest corn. Then they are each individually harvested, weighed using the weigh wagon, and sampled for moisture % and test weight.
