This is the first Monarch I’ve seen all year. This is a Swamp Milkweed that I potted into a 3 gallon last summer in preparation for our move. It was one of the first things I planted at the new place, next to the A/C condensation line, along with an Elderberry and Scarlet Hibiscus. This area makes for a fantastic wetland area. This Swamp Milkweed is an absolute monster this year!
