There is a very special kind of confidence in saying:

“I’ll remember the name of this wine.”

No you won’t.

You’ll come back three months later and say:

“It was red… or maybe white… I think the label had a bird? Or a tree? Maybe it was Italian? You recommended it and I loved it.”

And somehow, we’ll still try to solve the mystery like wine detectives.

The good news?

Our POS can usually tell us what you bought in the last few months.

So no pressure.
Forget the name.
We have receipts.

Literally.

𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 🍷

“Rosé is sweet.”

Nope.

Rosé is not automatically sweet just because it’s pink.

That’s like assuming every person wearing a floral shirt is emotionally available.

Some rosés are sweet, yes.

But a lot of them are dry, crisp, refreshing, and basically built for Florida survival.

The color comes from the grape skins spending a little time with the juice — not from someone dumping sugar and pink glitter into the tank.

Dry rosé can be amazing with seafood, salads, grilled chicken, charcuterie, spicy food, pool days, patio days, and days where the weather feels personally offensive.

So no, rosé is not “girl wine.”
It’s not “sweet wine.”
It’s not “just for summer,” although honestly… it does understand the assignment.

Pink does not mean sweet.

Class dismissed. 🍷

𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 🍷

This Thursday from 5–7pm, we’re doing our Dinner Panic Tasting at Sandy’s Shack.

You know that moment when you get invited for dinner and they say "Just bring the wine" or when dinner is almost ready and suddenly you’re standing there like:

“Wait… what wine goes with this?”

Exactly.

That’s why this tasting exists.

We’ll be pouring wines that can save the usual dinner situations — pasta, chicken, grilled stuff, “I don’t know, we’re just throwing something together,” and the classic Florida dinner plan: snacks and survival.

Come taste a few, find your emergency dinner bottle, and stop letting dinner boss you around.

Free tasting.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 👀

Today’s little “wait… what is this?” bottle:

A semi-sweet sparkling wine made with Manzanilla from Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana.

Yes. Sparkling.
Yes. Manzanilla.
Yes. We had questions too.

It’s fresh, lightly bubbly, balanced between acidity and sweetness, with minty notes, a little citrus, and a super refreshing finish.

Basically: if wine, bubbles, botanicals, and “serve it cold over ice” had a very Spanish little baby… this would be it.

And at only 5% ABV, no need to share.

Kidding.

Kind of.

No garnish needed.
No complicated ritual.
Just chill it down, pour it over ice, and pretend your Monday suddenly became more interesting.

Weird? A little.
Refreshing? Absolutely.

🚨 THE CHUCKLE BUS MIGHT BE COMING TO THE WINE DINNER 🚨

Okay, this is too good.

We heard from some of you in The Villages that you’d love to join us for our July 30 Wine Dinner at The Barn at Bellemoor with live music by Gilly & The Girl, but the drive back and forth was the annoying part.

So… we may have found a solution.

Meet the Chuckle Bus with Alex Soto:
20 seats. Karaoke. Drinks included on the ride.
20$ per person + tip

Yes. You read that correctly.

This means your wine dinner experience could start before you even get to the dinner. Because apparently we are no longer just pairing wine with food… we are pairing wine with transportation and questionable singing.
