This is it! TOMORROW- it's almost time for the 2024 Trunk of Treat at Lake Lillian on Saturday, October 26, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
This year’s Trunk or Treat, proudly sponsored by Gary Yeomans Ford Villages, is packed with fun for the whole family!
Check out the event map! If you've come to previous events, notice that there is NO ONE WAY IN... once you park, just pick any booth and start walking counter-clockwise (right to left) around Lake Lillian --- and enjoy the spooky sights, sounds and candy!
Here’s what’s in store for the night:
🚗 Trunk or Treating: Stroll through the park and collect candy from OVER 50 creatively decorated booths set up by local vendors and organizations. Each booth offers a unique and safe trick-or-treating experience that the kids will love!
🌽 Hayrides: Hop on a hayride and enjoy a cozy trip around Lake Lillian as you take in the fall vibes. Check-in for the hayride at the crosswalk near the large pavilion and dock.
🎨 Foam Pumpkin Decorating: Get your creative juices flowing with pumpkin decorating, generously provided by the Lions Club of Orange Blossom Gardens/Lady Lake and Ocala Ft.King Lions Breakfast Club. Visit the large pavilion, pick a pumpkin, grab a brush, and make your masterpiece!
🎈 Family-Friendly Activities: There’s more than just treats! Enjoy a variety of free activities and inflatables to keep the little ones entertained all evening long.
👻 Haunted Maze: Take a walk through the Haunted Maze if you dare! Presented by the Arts District, see if you have what it takes to make it through! $5 per person (cash only). Funds benefit the Arts District Dance Competition Team.
🍔 Delicious Eats: Come hungry because we’ll have fantastic food trucks on-site serving up tasty treats to keep you fueled for all the fun. Food offerings include Fat Tiki, Backstage Grill and Concessions, Papa Johns Pizza, Poppin’ and Shakin’, Kona Ice Ocala and Fatboyz Donutz Sweetz.
Whether you’re bringing the kiddos for safe Halloween fun or just looking to soak up the festive atmosphere, this event is perfect for everyone. So, throw on your best costume, grab your friends and family, and head to Lake Lillian for a memorable night of Halloween excitement!
