Who says graduation cakes have to be boring? I mean I’m all about tradition but the cap and gown doesn’t have to infiltrate its way into every high school graduation piece of decor. I say let them pick the pretty things that show their personality!

Birthdays will always be magical in my eyes. You can never age out or be too grown up for a special celebration. In our family, we usually go pretty big on themes and parties. Not instagram big with outrageous budgets…scaled back, family style big. We dress the part, have themed foods and snacks, and play competitive games (with prizes). It’s just how we roll. We never know how many birthdays we are given, so why not treat every one of them special? The nieces and nephews put on a great party! And can I say they even had a monorail container holding actual fresh churros?! My favorite detail lol.

You don’t think I stopped at a birthday cake do you? No way! Matching cookies for my nieces and nephews is a must! Can’t wait to show you all of them.
